ways to drive your self insane

<< < (3/10) > >>

Patrick:
Mary McCaslin's fucking terrible version of "Help!" Yes, the Beatles song. The one that shouldn't ever be covered. Yes, Mary McCaslin. The one who should've taken up self-amputation instead of guitar.

Despite the lack of repetitive annoyance, your brain will cease function about four seconds into the first play.

David_Dovey:
I once had a single drum fill stuck in my head for weeks on end, and I had no idea what song it was from. It drove me batshit. Wen I finally worked out what it was it felt like weight being lifted off my shoulders.

P.S; It was the opening fill from Bad Religion's "Let Them Eat War"

Ernest:
Brooks Wackerman is in the fuckin' pocket.

David_Dovey:
Damn right homie. Unfortunately when he's in the pocket, in my brain, one fill, over and over, for literally weeks non-stop, it started to make me go a bit nutty

SilentJ:
Alright, let me clarify: Both of these are the good kind of insane, okay? okay.

Both "Somebody To Love" - Queen and Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Little Wing" cover have formed their own elite club of songs that have been stuck in my head for a month or longer.  This never happens to me.  How did it manage to happen twice? I DON'T KNOW.
