ways to drive your self insane

<< < (2/10) > >>

Ernest:
I too have had "Aces High" by Iron Maiden drive me insane.  I always wanted to listen to it.  The same thing happened with "Invalid Litter Dept." by At the Drive-In.

Hat:
I once had the opening guitar part out of Neko Case - Deep Red Bells stuck in my head over and over for about three hours of horrific, hallucinogen based introspection, when all I wanted to do was just friggin sleep.

Although I suspect that bringing drugs into it drastically alters the requirements of what a riff needs to do to drive you insane.

Der Turm, der Leute frass:
any album by orthrelm ....your brain will melt like ice in hell

ScrambledGregs:
Velvet Underground- Sister Ray. I can never listen to this song more than three times in a row before it starts to drive me crazy. But it's a good kind of crazy.

Also: Pavement- Fight This Generation. Mostly the ending part. Good in small doses, but repetitive and irritating otherwise.

Kicker of Elves:
The bass line to 'A Salty Salute' by GBV has me addicted, but even I can only listen to it so many times.
