Anyone else played this at all?

It's the un-official sequel to Total Annihlation.
All that needs to be said really.

Storm Rider:
Considering it's not out yet, I'm pretty sure nobody's played it. It's being released on Wednesday, I believe.

It looks great, but I'm not going to overhaul my PC just to play it.

Umm. Not in the UK it's not. It was released on Friday here.

I have a copy, but my PC keeps crashing while installing it, which is sucky. However, from what I can tell from the demo, the game is ridiculously complicated and will take a long time to get used to and enjoy for what it is. That is, if it is good at all.

IGN's review is here. Normally I'm not a huge fan of IGN's reviews, but Gamespot's probably won't be up until tomorrow night.

Gamespot does, however, have a lengthy demo of the game by the lead designer Chris Taylor on the most recent episode of On the Spot. The specific episode is 2/15/07, and the Supreme Commander part starts at around the 13 minute mark, if you're impatient.

They also play Def Jam: Icon with the level pulsating to Depeche Mode. Which is totally awesome
