Alright gents, after the success with my last CBG, I've decided to make another Cigar Box Guitar, only this one will actually have something of a budget!
I'm making it out of a relatively small cedar cigar box (literaly, it's a small rectangle that I think is just long enough to keep scale) that I'm going to fill with Maple.  Despite being a CBG, it's going to have quite a bit of tonal possibilities this time.  It's going to have a telecaster style bridge with a slanted bridge pickup and a Firebird-esque mini-humbucker at the neck.  As for electronics, it's gonna have a 3 way pickup selector switch, 2 tone knobs, and one volume, but the tone knob for the neck pickup will be a push/pull so I can change the mini-bucker from parallel to series.  I'm gonna get a maple neck with rosewood fretboard, but I'm probably going to stain it like I did with the last one.
At least, that's the plan anyway.  The parts I need I can get from the previously mentioned Guitarfetish.com for about $200.  I'd like to hear some suggestions for this build before I order the parts though.
