Honestly, if I were going to have my hair like that (which I wouldn't, it's taken a few years to get to a length I am happy with), I would make it look like Travis Bickle's mohawk. So yeah, slim it and trim the front. Sunglasses and OD field jacket optional.

I did last week. I have no satisfactory pictures so please excuse the weird poofiness of my hair in this one (the woman who cut my hair blow-dried it, then I slept on it, then I took this picture):

Guys I got my hair cut too! But I have no photos at the moment. It's still long enough that no one has noticed that it's been cut but in fact it is at least three inches shorter and is only an inch or so past my shoulders. Also she put layers in and shaped the front so I finally have pretty hair! And it is still a wash-and-go cut so I can be lazy in the mornings.
