Lunchy I am doing the same thing. My hair is just past my shoulders now and this is the longest it has been since I was about 14 or so, and I want to grow it out to see if I have been making the right choice by keeping it short all these years. We are in this together!

It's not... I.... normally that shirt would not have anything under it! But it's cold and I was going to be wearing a jacket all day on top of it so I figured long sleeves underneath would be okay.
I like to think of it as my Molly Ringwald shirt, it is my favourite shirt so be quiet.

Yep. I blame TV for the scrubs+long sleeves association, especially Scrubs. The sleeves are short for a reason IRL, since it's a dirty job sometimes and you're trying to keep sanitary. Unless you're manning a desk most of the day the long sleeves are a liability.

Maybe it's a regional thing too. It seems like a lot of people from warmer states wear layers all the friggin' time indoors, whereas where I live people are breaking out the shorts pretty much the second it hits 40°F.
