Why do I always find bands right after they broke up?
Vancroth:
The image of Ted totally rocking out at Stanford is forever implanted in my mind. Thus, I would join you in the shedding of tears, if they broke up.

I just went to their Myspace and saw "1997-2007" and then a blog entitled "Thank you and goodbye." God that was depressing. I can't jump off a cliff though, because I have exams.
Not a minute after I started listening to "Weighing Souls With Sand," I found out that the drummer/guitarist for The Angelic Process broke his hand, possibly irreparably.
Music is sad.

Hm the blood brothers? Bummer.
The worst though, is when a band dies. For example, the exploding hearts.
Early into their career, totally going to make awesome shit, and then they almost all died! There went all the super cool music, and any chance of any reuniting ever!

Then there's Joe Strummer. My brother got to see one of his Mescalero gigs in NYC after 9/11 complete with 10+ minute violin salute to the FDNY. And there I was, too young to go (I was in 5th grade). But then again, I saw Sleater Kinney, woo! Hot lesbians (well, not the ones in the band) made out next to me! A++ concert. I miss them.

Why hello there, I do believe we were at the same exact show. That band who played right before him was TOTALLY FUCKING WORTHLESS if I'm not mistaken.

Jawbox... but then wait, I found out about J. Robbins new band, Burning Airlines... that broke up two months after I saw them. Dammit J., follow through on something.
And then there's Shiner, one of my all time favorites, who broke up after I only got to see them twice and, of course, right after they put out a monster of an album, "The Egg".
I also never got to see Faraquet, who smoke Medications in my opinion.
