The Knife!  The Knife!  The Knife!

Aimless:
Despite having lived in Sweden for over 15 years, it wasn't until earlier this year that I finally opened myself up to Swedish music. And I discovered I prefer Swedish hiphop (such as Timbuktu and Snook :o) to most American hiphop, for example. Some other Swedish bands and artists I like are: Lars Winnerbäck, Nikola Sarcevic, Bo Kaspers Orkester, Cardigans, Wille Crafoord... eeerrr, I can't think of any more names off the top of my head, but they ARE taking over more and more of my hard-drive. I'm still not a big fan of mainstream Swedish pop, but just outside the mainstream there's a lot of great stuff being produced. I esp. love the jazz influences that seem so prevalent :)

I think Swedish musicians have a knack for taking pretty much anything I like and then adding just the right touch of pop to it to make it perfectly suited to my tastes.

I think that is the limit before people become too stuck in their tastes.  ;)
