They were child stars, now they're rockers
« on: 14 Dec 2007, 19:09 »

The other day I happened to find out that little Pete from the old TV show 'The Adventures of Pete & Pete' is a member of a band called Jounce. At the same time, I've known that The Chick from the Nintendo commercial/kids movie The Wizard turned out to be Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley/solo/Postal Service back-up vocals fame.

So my question is this...can you folks think of any other kids who were in quirky TV shows or movies, and then grew up to be musicians??

If you fight fire with fire, you will just make a bigger fire. Yes.
But if you fight fire with crystals, and ice bulbs, you will put the fire out and the crystals will turn to diamonds!

Lisa Rieffel of Killola was a child star. She was in various commercials and TV shows as a kid, and in adulthood.

Lil' Pete was at Hampshire the same year as I was finishing up there. I lent his band studio time.
