4. Slipknot - All Hope is Gone
5. Secret Machines - s/t

Can someone explain to me why everyone everywhere aurally masturbates to Fleet Foxes. They're kinda nice sounding and harmonize well but...from repeated listens that's all I get out of their music.

I'm interested to know how slipknot ended up on two forumites top ten lists.  Is there something I'm completely missing?  I was at a party saturday and someone mentioned slipknot.  I thought people forgot about this band.

maybe because their new album (as with the one before it) is a really good commercial metal record?  and that the two people in question liked it?
