The surviving members of Sun City Girls are playing in Toronto on the day I arrive.

I'm planning on going alone because I don't want anybody to see me cry.

!!

i will try to be there for this as well.
i won't be crying though.

But you might be! They would probably be tears of laughter, though, because I bet Tommy looks pretty fantastic with a shiny red nose and red eyes and snotty everywhere.

oh i bet he does.
i retract my offer of "something", because it sounds like i am talking about sexual favours.
really i should have left it at "would you like a hug?" because that is perfectly innocent and nice and i like hugs yay.

meh.

except i have no reason to kick him in the face because he hasn't done anything to piss me off.
well, he constantly calls me miss which is overly formal and silly but i actually don't mind it.

Especially when talking about Tronnocon.

Does anyone know what time we can check in? I'm arriving in the morning and don't really know what to do with all my crap, unless I can put it someplace at the hostel or in a locker somewhere.

So I should know if I'm bailing on this within a few days. Sorry guys, but being in the Torngat Mountains all summer is cooler than a weekend with you.
Well also I'd get paid for the Torngat thing. If anyone wants to offer me a competitive salary to go to TorontoCon, I'll consider it.

EDIT: Yeah, I'll be there.

Tania, they're on tour together. So it will be Cons and Ladyhawk in Waterloo.

So the Constantines are not playing with Ladyhawk in Waterloo. Instead, they have some fellas called 'Attack in Black' and a lady by the name of Jen Castle.
I kind of wish I hadn't just looked them up, because they have some bad sounds.

So you guys aren't really missing out.

Found out today there is about a 10% chance I won't be able to make it. I'm moving in with some people in September, but I was talking with two of them and found out I'll have to pay the security deposit late spring/early summer. Depending on how they let me pay it (as it will wipe out most of what I've saved), hopefully a little at a time, I may be able to save enough, but as I'm only working about 11 hours a week, I have no idea if I'll be able to with current bills and thesis expenses. I am 90% sure I'll be okay, but you never know.

Well..due to what is probably stupidity on my half, and definite pulling out on a promise on my mom's half..I don't have the money to get a passport, and at this point in time, I'd likely have to get it expedited anyway, which is mucho extra money.

=( I'm out, guys.

I'll have enough at the end of the summer. I won't have enough money in the coming weeks to get a passport, and then have money for Tronno. It's just not possible.

Insofar as I can tell, Linds, Shane is the only one who was a definite who is backing out. The other people who said they couldn't go were iffy from the start. I am pretty sure this is still on.

If not, then Matt and MaiAda and I will have an un-titled unofficial barbecue with Mike and Eed and Tania and Tommy and Julia. Everyone else will suffer death by wendigo. So there.

Shane and I were discussing something like getting together in the San Fran Bay Area and jamming around October, since there is the possibility of us both being around at that time.

If we get things solidified with that, Shane, then you and I should start our own Rockon. see wut i did ther? rock? con? rock on? rockon? LOLOLOL

Seriously though.

This is probably a bad time to tell you that I have two just out of necessity.

Most expats have multiple passports for different countries. Like, back when I lived in Egypt I needed a separate passport for Israel because Arab countries don't like seeing that visa.
