I grew up in New Hampshire, where all of the water is clean.
Seriously, the only beach I hate up there is Hampton beach and that's because the boardwalk is littered with morons.

My family went to hampton beach when I was around five years old. I remember very little (I think the boardwalk had streets named after the alphabet?) but one day the waves were especially big and close together and I got caught in the riptide and almost drowned. My mom said she might not have seen me, to pull me up and out, were it not for the bright neon pink and green swimsuit I loved to wear.
