Do you have another suggestion for an art hosting site?  I'd like to know if there are other sites that would be recommended.

(I apologize for the off-topic discussion) but this thread seems to be a runaway freight train bound for certain doom in a high velocity crash resulting in horrible pain, suffering, and catastrophe for this thread, so I guess it doesn't really matter at this point... :P

Fargo:
Hello,

Sorry for the typo, however, that does not change the point about language changing faster than dictionaries do. Also, like I said, we are not a huge convention. We do not have crates of cash to throw around to convince people to send in art. Tne NoBrandComic was started as a way for people to be published and so people could get their work out. It was not created as a contest or competition to see who among our congoers has the best art. The convention runs on the kindness and altruism of volunteers and that is what I am looking for is people to volunteer their talent if they have the time and desire, people seem to think I am asking for top shelf work for no compensation. I am hoping for any positive response to this. If I were to get professional work from this, I would be ecstatic but I am not expecting that great of a response.

To KharBevNor, sorry if my format bothers you, it is just the style I am used to. I prefer being somewhat formal when talking to people and I bring that over to forums. I simply do not get why it bothers some people when I format myself this way.

Sincerely,

Fargo

Liz:
It bothers people because this is an internet forum, not a corporate office. It's an opportunity to let loose! If you want to retain formalities, using proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling will pretty much be enough. Forums are just another form of conversation- when you're talking to someone in person, you wouldn't start each reply with "hello" and finish with you name, That would be ridiculous.

I'm just saying that we have delivered professional work for no pay. I am actually offended that you are not considering my artwork seriously, just because Mr. BevNor has abused my copyrighted works (and will be hearing from my lawyer), I do not understand why you dismiss the legitimacy of my art.

Please reconsider my submissions, I do not believe you have given them a fair chance.

Johnny C:
We're not being honest here, everyone.

Fella, what bothers everyone here is that it's pretty clear that you made this thread literally the moment you signed up. If you had spent some time to become a member of the community first we'd likely be glad to help you, but you didn't make that effort. Were I in your shoes, I wouldn't be overly surprised that there was a backlash.
