I didn't know you could call it a cravat until a year or two ago. Ascot is what I have always called them. Also, note that technically they are different items of neckwear, but most people use the words interchangeably (those that know both, anyway). From what I can tell, a cravat has a narrow part that goes around the neck, kind of like the regular tie, and the ascot looks poofier, so more like it is an even length all the way around (like a scarf maybe?). I could have this entirely backwards, though. I just surmised based on what I found on a GIS.

It is my personal opinion that either is a super-classy alternative to a regular tie anyway.

It was not actually my car but the car of a friend of mine. I would not buy a mini cooper even if I were not an impoverished student. They are just too tiny! Especially for when you want to go road-tripping and camping accross the country! BAD IDEA!

To completely derail this page of the thread - if I were to buy a car in the Mini-size class, I'd go for the Audi A3.
It's bigger, costs less, is very powerful while still fuel-efficient, looks awesome and did I already mention that you can fit 3 guys' entire luggage for a week's snowboarding trip in and still have a very comfy ride?

Most cameras have this neat little function on them nowadays, where you press the button and a little man comes out of the camera and waits for you to get in a pose before actually taking the photo. It's pretty nifty, "elf function" I think it's called.

I wore this to an interview; would you hire me to sell chocolate?

It was taken up at the Cruachan (photo looking down at it) dam reservoir. It's a pretty awesome place to fish. It's in a huge corrie, with loads of waterfalls coming off of the mountains around you.
