I saw the Pacific Ocean for the first time!

And in the end, I took over as manager for the Padres. The front office figured they really couldn't get all that much worse anyway.

I gots myself a boyfriend!

He likes this picture because he actually looks like the -man- in it... He's shorter then me. It's kind of a sensitive subject for him (it doesn't help that I make fun of him for it like all the time)... I think my arm is in a really awkward position. Weird.

He's actually not that much shorter then me. It's not like I can set my chin on the top of his head or anything (Well, I could, but I'd have to stand up reeeeeeally straight to do it). I also make fun of him 'cause his hands are tinnier then mine...but it's not like it's his fault. It bothered me a little before we were a couple, but now I think it's cute. He blushes way too easy.

Whilst there I met up with Edith. She drove me around Fort Wayne.

We found my street.

Edith talked to a truck driver.

So that we could find the quarry.

And then become superheroes.

Yes, we need to work on costumes.

So, last weekend we gathered in the park for a picnic, beer drinking, and the National World Ultimate Bocce Championships.

Man, I haven't played boules (bocce, pétanque etc) in ages! 'All-terrain' boules is a huge amount of fun. I really should organise a game now that the weather's nicer, and before it gets too hot.

Also, if you lose the cochonnet (jack) you can use an unshelled macadamia nut; they're the same size, the nut's just lighter.

Redlion, no. I did stretch one of my old headbands over my head, the reason my shirt looks a bit weird is because I used photoshop (which I can only barely use) to blot out the giant Punisher skull that is on the front of it. I'll be wearing a plain black shirt on the night but I was basically doing a test run to see how the gloves look after I've modified them and how the mask looks with the rest of it.

O hey so so I said I was going to an op=shop party earlier?

This is what I ended up getting. It cost AU$12 all up.

When I was buying it I thought it was totally outrageous and the worst outfit ever. Then I got home and realised that it is essentially a more colourful version of what you'd see skater or hardcore kids wearing any day of the week. (that does not make it not horrible)
