The End at the beginning simply gives me chills.
Star Wars. Sue me. "Across the Stars" was amazing.
I had a solo on my flute, accompanied by a violin.. and I cried during my solo. Violin's really get to me, I love them, and I've always wanted to learn how to play. I've just never taken the time.
300 is another one.

The soundtrack for The Assassination of Jesse James is amazing, but for some reason I found I only liked it on CD and not while watching the movie. The way they edited it into the movie was very poorly done for a lot of the songs. Still a pretty good movie, though.

Royal Tenenbaums-the soundtrack really set the mood for this one.

Ok think most of my favorites have already been mentioned, so I'll just mention one that I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned... Platoon!

Also in the West Wing, love the use of Massive Attack as Leo is running to tell the President about the kidnapping.
And if we are mentioning use of music in T.V. shows - The Sopranos.

The soundtrack just makes the entire movie. I've rewatched the entire movie without subtitles just because the soundtrack kicked that much ass.
