AanAllein:
I play a fair bit of Magic and have for a few years; actually made some money off of it but still have yet to travel overseas off it like a few friends have. Might go on an extended hiatus next year, since I figure first-year teachers do not tend to have a lot of spare time. Also have been involved in a whole bunch of other such games, including Warhammer 40K. I stopped playing/painting this year when I moved out of a house with flatmates doing the same (plus less monies), but I'll probably pick it up again at some point.

Adlan:
I started with Warhammer, then moved onto harder gaming systems, like D&D and Shadowrun, I ran Serenity Games, even ran one at a forum meet up of a different webcomic (GITP), then I hit rock bottom, I began to play online Roleplay games. Freeform became my new habit, the extra time to write and not be hampered by rules ment games were a marvellous mix of combat and roleplay with plentiful decription and dialouge.

I'm doing better now, rehab helped. I only write one online RP now.........

Remember kids.... Warhammer is a Gateway Game.... It might seem all cool and grimdark now, but it can lead to harder geekdom's.....

That would be much better.

this is exactly what i thought. i even came in here with the intention of talking about scrabble. i made a really good play the other day.

I am working on learning how to DM 4th ed. I like being an instigator character, which I guess is pretty well satisfied by the ability to say things like "rocks fall, roll a new character".

I'm pretty sure in the Game / tech forum there was a thread that addressed this.

In other news, due to the blowout success of Fallout 3 all the dumb fucks who wouldn't give me the time of day for my Van Buren PnP game are begging me to start it again. I've been meaning to, it's so much better than what Fallout 3 turned out to be, and Fallout 3 wasn't bad by any means.
