A film a year for every year you've been alive
KvP:
Man, there are some pretty... pretty heroin addicts. It was a vogue drug, remember.
Also I was going to comment on Est's apparent zeal for heroin cinema. I'm surprised Trainspotting didn't take '96.
Surgoshan:
My criterion? Which movie from that year would I/do I own?
1981 - Raiders of the Lost Ark
1982 - Blade Runner (I already own Conan the Barbarian, which is a surprisingly cinematic piece, for all that the plot sucks balls; The scoring is perfect. However, I think BR is the superior film.)
1983 - A Christmas Story
1984 - The Gods Must Be Crazy
1985 - Back to the Future
1986 - Ferris Bueller's Day Off (Narrowly beating F/X and the Transformers movie.)

1990 - Tremors
