Definitely my favourite Seam song. Maybe one of my favourite songs full-stop.
When I broke up with my first serious girlfriend I listened to the song "Radio Cure" by Wilco on repeat for an entire 4-hour bus ride home. We broke up due to the strain of a long-distance thing (my having moved to a town 4 hours away) and the line "Distance has no way of making love understandable" had a certain resonance.
Listening to bands like Television and the Velvet Underground reminds me of being 16 and thinking I was way cooler than everyone I knew because I listened to bands like Television and the Velvet Underground.

"I'll Buy You the Fucking Single" by None More Black - Reminds me of drinking under the pier of Skegness beach with two of my best friends. And of cracking my head open when I stood up too quickly under a girder, and having to hide my drunkeness from the first aid guy at the pier arcade...
"Grace" by Jeff Buckley - Reminds me of my ex-girlfriend (who I'm still good friends with). It was her who introduced me to Buckley's music a couple of years ago, around the time I started to really fall for her.
"Mr. Bojangles" by Sammy Davis Jr. - Pretty much any Rat-Pack music reminds me of my Grandad (the one guy I looked up to most while growing up, and probably the only older male relative in my family I really got on well with and respected for a long time), but this song especially, as it was played at his funeral.
"Hallowed Be Thy Name" by Iron Maiden - My old band used to cover this one (hell, all we played was covers!), and this my favourite of all the songs we played, so it kinda reminds me of a few years of lazily organised gigs and jam sessions, and generally having a whole lotta fun with a few good mates (and all those who came to watch us), before the seriousness of work/the navy/further education hit us all.

Nothing Better by the Postal Service reminds me of my first breakup - not my first girlfriend, but, the break up itself.

My mother used to sing me Carey by Joni Mitchell whenever I was upset, and basically anything on Blue completely soothes my soul.
Green Day's Basket Case will always remind me of elementary school and my friend Danny. We knew every word to every song on Dookie, and even incorporated it into a very silly create your own nation project we had in 5th grade. Our country's anthem was to the stylings of Sassafras Roots.

Every song I have pulls up a memory of someplace in time...
