My first thought upon hearing that Snyder was going to be directing was "oh shit, here comes the slow-mo." But I heard he was a huge fan of the comic book, so I got my hopes up that he would tone it down a little. When he didn't it wasn't a big deal, it was just slightly enough to take me out of the movie for a little bit.
