Yeah actually the same douchebucket owns the club but some nice kids lease it from him and they do an fantastic job running it now. I had played there in the 90's when he had a hand in things. You never were sure if your booking was a go. Like you'd get there and no one would be around. Or the Soundboard looked like someone had thrown it in a combine. I actually left my 78 Mustang there once because well other people were helping me get my gear out. It took 2 weeks until they had another show and tracking him down from his tax records to get in touch. There it sat, still in the case, on the flloor.

But yeah, major jerkstore there on the BF show. I did get to see all of Saccharine Trust and Tom Troccoli's Dog (sp?). But I think you know why I was there.

I wasn't actually there, but...  My alltime ruined show story, because it involves my second favorite band and one of my least favorite rappers, takes place last year at Lollapalooza (this is probably fairly well known).  Li'l Wayne shows up a half hour late to his set, and performs for a half hour longer than he was intended to.  The Black Keys are the next act on (and apparently a majority of the crowd was there for them).  They get up, get to play for about twenty-five minutes to half an hour and are forced to leave.  They slam down their instruments and Dan Auerbach looks into the crowd and says, very loudly and clearly, "You can thank Li'l Wayne for this."

I don't believe Lil Wayne was at Lollapalooza last year. That was V Fest I think?

This happend at a bar in the city; my friend convinced me to see his brother's band first gig. That part was fantastic but soon after 25 Ta' Lyfe came on. The lead singer spent about fifteen minutes talking about his addiction to cocaine back in the 90's, when the music finally had begun a group of drunk rednecks stormed into the middle of the crowd and began to mosh with their fists. Way too Rock N' Roll for me. To this day I have no idea what 25 Ta' Lyfe is.

Well, somewhere, anyway.  As I said, I wasn't actually there.
