I admit, the triple umlaut part made me laugh pretty hard.

I was kind of disappointed that Wiccan guidance Counselor is apparently not a real band.  I would listen to their music.

Wait why aren't Queensrÿche under the umlaut catagory but Spinal Tap are?

SPINAL TAP DO NOT EVEN REALISE WHAT AN UMLAUT IS

Ok here are some of my favourite local metal bands names:

"Fuck... I'm Dead" (terrible but if you like grindcore these are probably dudes to see)

"Dead Letter Opener" (there are actually two bands in this city named 'Dead Letter <something>' but these guys are easily better and make tech-metal about being a fat dude and how it is ok)

"Killosophy" (picked entirely for their name I have no idea what they sound like)

"Scuurvy" (awesomely bad pirate metal, fell in love with them opening for dungeon when I realised their opening track was  called "shit my pants like a retard", yes it was still about searching for gold although I don't remember how)

"Sky Pi" (fucking awesome prog metal, probably the best heavy band in Brisbane at the moment but easily the worst band name I've ever heard)

"People Die" (I have been told these guys are awesome but I'm pretty sure they're just terrible grindcore)

"The Decimation Protocol" (next to 'Killswitch Engage' for ridiculously pragmatic sounding band names but I mostly chose them for their logo but oh my god it is incredible)

I do live in a city blessed with a glut of really average Death Metal and Grindcore bands though

Grindcore shows are fucking insane. You'll never find something remotely like it in a different genre.

there are plenty of grindcore bands that aren't terrible

Mumakil - named after the Tolkienian subspecies of pachyderms, and sound just as heavy.
Pig Destroyer - Scott Hull is a riff machine, and J.R. Hayes is one of the most underrated lyricists ever
Rotten Sound
Brutal Truth

and of course Nasum

Now if you really want to make an accurate statement, you can say that every porno/cyber grind band is terrible. Holy christ they are all terrible.

Wouldn't "Iron Maiden" fit under "deadly things?"  And wtf happened to "Death?"
