We've both agreed that as long as he is with this girl(and they've just started dating) that nothing physical can come from this, and that it will remain nothing more that a texting thing. Once they start actually having sex, I imagine he'd be less interested in me, and more interested in the real thing. I don't know. It's terrible and we both know it. Basically, I am not sure how I feel about it at this point.

We aren't even really good friends, which I'm not sure if that makes me feel worse about it or not. Basically, he is a dude that has been chasing me since forever, and I have been rejecting him since forever, and now this.

if he is just a boytoy, why does it matter? My feelings aren't the ones that are going to get hurt. The worst that will happen is this will become something physical, and we'll fuck, and he'll cheat on his girlfriend. He'll get hurt, she'll get hurt, I'll lose a friend/fuck buddy. Seeing as I'm not close to the dude it won't be a huge loss, and in the mean time I will build my confidence back up because I will be having good sex that I prompted with someone I trust who will be telling me that it is good, plus letting me switch and experiment.

Basically, it sucks that people's feelings have to get hurt for me to feel better about myself, but I'm a bitch and beyond caring. Like I said, I never claimed to be a good person.

Regardless of anything Emaline has said, the biggest issue here is that the word "sexting" has been used twice in the last 20 posts, neither of which were directly making fun of the media.

Even if they were used appropriately, what the shit you guys it is not a real word

EDIT: Plus, I thought "sexting" was supposed to be sending naked pictures to people via SMS? Which is an issue because usually it is technically child pornography?

Man my friend at the liquor store last night was telling me about sexting. It is the dumbest term, plus it is totally something a lot of people do? Only hopefully without the child porn aspect. I think Emaline just wanted a chance to assert that she "didn't really care at all" to avoid guilt. Emaline, how about you be the decent person and end this, and find a guy who is not apparently a total skeevy asshole and that actually makes you feel like you are worth something? So, getting bloggy about sex: jesus am I sore for a bonin'. This is actually pretty unexpected too! I hadn't slept with anyone since March and was basically accepting of the fact I wasn't liable to get any for a while until last Saturday, last drunken hurrah of my first year at college, when I hooked up with a sort-of friend of mine and it was essentially mind-blowing. Which is awesome! I am totally grateful for this. But whether or not under other circumstances it would have been a one-time deal, the year ended and now she's in New Hampshire and my libido has been reactivated something fierce. Basically I am now strongly considering my joke-plan of using the summer to sleep with all the people I had crushes on in high school.
