I stopped playing about 2 months ago. Was getting slightly bored.

Funny you guys talk about Goldshire, in my server Goldshire is where lvl 80 alliance meets up to duel, although now people are just dueling right outside the SW gate.

The naked ladies dancing for money is done on top of the mailbox in front of the bank in SW.

Just gets me pissed when I'm trying to click on the mailbox to get my auctions, which is why I now have a toon with a guild sitting at the mailbox in Exodar, always empty to use the AH, always empty to mail stuff.

I see Pintzie as an undead warlock or perhaps a blood elf ... hmmm ... something. He probably did roll a DK to do arena though.

For me Sven would be a BE pally, dunno why.

Hanners rolled a gnome but she spends the entire day organizing her guild's bank.

When I first started I would dance all up on the NPCs. I would also strip off and dance on top of stuff. It was funny to me. It boggles my mind that people would pay someone to strip a toon down and dance.

A friend of mine removed clothing on stage while in University. He had an agent to book shows for him. Similar in concept the agent wasn't breaking the "living off the avails of prostitution" laws

pretty good, but Raven has nerd-potential, don't forget; she plays D&D. I think she'd go hunter.

Marten, totally the healer, and probably a druid.

Contrary to popular belief, not all goths play undead 'locks. And for some reason, I see marten and dora playing alliance.

I think Faye would be the undead 'lock, probably destruction spec.

I don't know what hanners would be but she'd win the auction house.

Yep, that sentence was painful. But I do get Jonsey's point. Too much of anything can be a bad thing. I may not understand WoW, and personally think its stupid, but a lot of people think it's fun. Some people are even obsessed with it. Personally, I try to stay clear of such addictions.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to do some heroin and strangle some hookers. You know, something productive.

Haha you nailed Faye. Also if you do not get WoW, you are lucky. Cocaine is an easy habit to drop by comparison, I only managed to get out of WoW when my GMs gf slept with our 2nd in command and the entire guild disbanded while I was overseas for work. Thank. God. I'm 'self employed' and I basically didn't work for like a year. FML. So much fun though.

BTW if you play horde, look for 'Cannibal Corpse Interview Corpsegrinder Likes WoW'. Hilarious.

LOL. That's pretty funny, no offense.

I once had my own guild and it disbanded because majority of men in our guild were late 20s and early 30s... and we had a 15 year old girl in guild. When she got on Ventrilo... The men should have been arrested. I have NEVER heard such dirty language spoken to a child... and she prompted it. Needless to say, I was so disappointed and disgusted with those men, they were my officers (majority of 'em), and one was my second in command.
I packed up my guild bank and skipped out. After I left, guild fell apart and majority of 'em are now living on other servers. Haha.

Oh, trust me, that kind of thing really isn't unprecedented. I used to play on MUDs, the ancestor of today's MMORPGs and such shenanigans were even more common. You see, MUDs are home brewed contraptions ran by enthusiasts in their spare time. This means that it isn't unusual for some random college student or a bright high schooler to be running their own li'l fiefdom for the benefit of IRL friends and online buddies. So, basically, you have a World of Warcraft ran by someone with no real stake in making sure everything runs in an impartial manner and a very high probability that a core portion of the user base knows each other personally. Usually this just amounts to some favoritism and a few IRL arguments spilling into the digital world but in one memorable case a MUD I had played on for a year and a half suddenly disintegrated for reasons best described as "dorm drama."

I have played WoW. Even started my own guild... But by God did it get boring quick (I think i managed to get my human paly to lvl 34, and by that stage i was just going through the motions).

The only MMO i have ever TRUELY enjoyed was an MMORTS by the name of Mankind ( http://www.mankind.net/ ). I have been relyablely informed that the guild me and a mate of mine started in high school (Im class of 2002 btw) is still alive and kicking despite the fact that niether of us play any more. Now that was a fun game. Graphicaly it was like Homeworld, but you were on planets as well as in space.
