could be! it was an actual question from a "would you rather" board game i played with my friends a few months ago.
i said healthy but everybody else said taxes. i think taxes are pretty okay, but maybe when i am older and have more responsibilities and life becomes difficult forever i might change my mind.

I'd rather be healthy and pay taxes. But I'd also rather more of that tax money went towards making sure other people could stay healthy rather than, say, shooting at people in foreign deserts. I'd also rather live in a country and society where "We're going to lower taxes more than the other lot!" wasn't the go-to position for both major political parties.
But I digress.

Also I am vegetarian anyway, so the meat choice is quite obvious for me :)
Would you rather spend the next 30 years of your life wearing nothing but a potato sack and living on the streets where people will feel pity on you and give you just enough money to live relatively comfortably, or living in a billion pound/dollar house with everybody hating you for your whole existence?

Rich hated people usually end up dead. That said, I'd rather be rich than a dependent. If I was actually outright liked, grudgingly admired or considered notorious for my lifestyle ala Diogenes, it'd be a closer call, but being pitied isn't far enough away from being treated with contempt for my liking.
Would you rather find love or accomplish something that bettered mankind?
