For those of you who do not know of the classic educational game, either read that link or I'll give a summary.

You get in a wagon, you get a bunch of people, and you make your way to Oregon from Missouri back in 1848.

Basically I want to play the game, but I want people's input on what the hell I'm to do. It's a game about a group of people, so I figured I might as well play it as a group.

First things first, what the shitter am I gonna' be?

Go gangster and only buy 1 box of ammo.

That way you can't just slaughter an entire forest every week to eat. Make your buffaloes count.

June was a poor choice. What you do is you leave as early as possible, but with no food. Buy all the bullets you can, and spend the first month hunting right outside the first town. That way you end up leaving a bit later (like mid May) and you can get the max 2000 lbs of food.

UPDATE: Oli got lost for two days (idiot) and Jens has cholera. Shit.

EDIT: Oli now has a fever, and Jens has typhoid to go with his cholera. Shit.

EDIT: OMG I made it to Oregon! Fuck yes! So it turns out that Kris did actually die. Oli and I were the only ones to survive the journey, but I had cholera and he was in "fair health." Go us!

Oh, my mistake. I thought this was a thread about Organ Trail, the popular educational children's game about backwoods body-part harvesting. I guess it won't be so risky to stop and look around after all.

I should've realised when "Butcher from Kentucky" wasn't on the list of playable characters.
