Bowling statistics are far too arcane for me to go into, but one simple batting stat speaks volumes about the gulf between the two teams throughout the series: Australia's batsmen have scored 3 centuries in the series, 2 of which were scored by Hussey, while England's batsmen have scored 9, including double centuries to Cook and to Pietersen.
EDIT: and there's no doubt that England are going to win this match. Australia are seven wickets down in their second innings at the moment and still behind by 188, all the specialist batsmen are out (unless you include Smith, but I don't think anybody would), the umpires have offered the English an extra half hour's play today because the match is so close to finished, and there's still a full day's play to go with the only rain forecast being "isolated showers". And if there's one thing that's obvious from the series so far, it's that Australia's batsmen have neither the skill nor the temprament to block out a whole day's play to salvage a draw.
