I'm pretty sure they're also planning on releasing the Special Edition version for Mac, if they haven't already, which includes the original VGA version!

That would be sweet. While looking it up I discovered it's been released on iPhone, I'm tempted.

If you've got ScummVM you should go ahead and get LeChuck's Revenge as well. Superior to the original Monkey Island in almost every respect.
