okay okay secret santa, i am REALY sorry. i was going to get yr present and ship it out this weekend, but do to some unfortunate stuff that just happened to me, I just lost a whole bunch of money, which I was going to use for this. so, i will take care of this as soon as i can, but its gonna have to wait a little bit longer. ill figure something out, i promise. i am sorry though i probably should not have done this, i barely ever have enough money to take care of myself, let alone buy gifts for people.

I fear both my santa and santee's gifts have fallen by the wayside in transit. Certainly, I've sent mine (the post office promised me it'd arrive in Buffalo in 5 to 7 days too! cheeky mongrels) and perhaps the same delay has happened to any incoming parcel headed my way?

yeah i sent mine a few days before christmas (on the 22nd, i think) and paid a pretty hefty price to ensure it would arrive at its destination within 5-10 business days so i gotta admit, i am a little bummed this was apparently a big lie and it still hasn't gotten there yet. part of my gift included delicious food items so the only thing i can assume at this point is that maybe it was delayed in customs for some reason or another but otherwise i guess all i can really do now is just pray it gets there eventually.

The great thing is that actually if we are doing this as a Christmas thing, we're not as late as we all feel because the gifts given to Jesus were given by the wise men and they turned up like three years late, plus Epiphany is in January anyway so don't feel bad!

My family loves putting things in the tiny nativity scene we own, and by my family I mean me.

I usually put weird Yu Gi Oh figures I have from being a kid, like Exodia the Forbidden, Obelisk the Tormentor, the Winged Dragon of Ra, or Slifer the Sky Dragon

This year I went with the tiny talking Dalek.

A parcel arrived for me today! I got super-excited that it might be my Santa gift but it was not. It was equally exciting though - a DVD of the Footlights Panto I worked on but never saw! So to my Santa, if you have not yet sent the gift do not worry, an exciting parcel arrived at about the time I thought I might get a Santa gift and any future Santa gifts will therefore be a bonus excitement!

And if you have sent it ages ago, please tell me so that I can rail against a postal service which has lost my Santa gift twice in two years.

I am not all that miffed that my santa has possibly disappeared into the ether or has just forgotten/is broke.

I am miffed, however, at the god damn post office lady who told me my santa-recipient would have their sweet sweet present in 5 to 7 working days? What the hell bullshit is that. Santipient, do you have your present yet? I am guessing probably no. Because the goddamn Post Office is a fountain of sorrow, regret and disappointment.

If your stuff was sent to America, the recent weather troubles have caused no small amount of postal mayhem - I had packages shipped two months ago that showed up today. Usually it takes ~1-2 weeks.
