Redball:
Standard disclaimer: Stop me if I've told this before.

I believe in an afterlife because I want to. And when one of our favorite cats,  kidney-diseased and wasting away, was trying to lap water from a puddle out in the yard, I talked to her, telling her it was OK to go, and that we'd talk about old times bye and bye, in another life. I think she smiled back at me.
I never saw her again. Apparently she went out in the woods behind the house. Never saw so much as a carcass. But OMG it hurts! That memory still hurts.

jwhouk:
Blue - she's not gone yet. :( I've still got to suffer through today and most of tomorrow with her.

If she makes it that far.

jwhouk:
This is gonna be the longest 36 hours of my life.

nekowafer:
They didn't have any closer appointments? Is there another vet you can go to, that will be as respectful?

lepetitfromage:
:-( *hug*
