Story time!
'round this time last year, my dad was kind enough to drive me over to Phil's parents' place so I could see their farm. While we were out of the room for a while, Dad sat and conversed with his parents and apparently they gave him a cup of coffee. Later, I asked what he thought of them, and after pussyfooting around the question for a bit, he said he didn't think they were "our kind of people".
"Why not?"
"How can I put this? ...they served me instant coffee."
"... you are a complete elitist snob, you do know that, right?"
"You don't serve guests instant coffee, it's just not polite."
"What if they drink instant coffee?"
"Coffee machines aren't even that expensive; if they're satisfied with instant coffee, that just proves my point! It's a lifestyle thing, they're not striving for the best in life."

Phil's parents found this story hilarious.
tl;dr, there is always someone snobbier than you.
