Is it cold in here?:
Somewhere, in a newspost or here, Jeph invited us to believe that the scar has faded and only shows in some lighting.

(moderator)Nobody should kill you, but there is a much-neglected rule about "nitpicking", which is said to make Jeph sad(/moderator).

Which could be the perfect solution, allowing Jeph the option of drawing it or not (or forgetting) and us the option to relax and not worry about it.

That is entirely possible, and what I usually think if I notice the scar is missing.

I actually have a scar on my left cheek from when I was a little boy (a 6 year old with a razor trying to be a man like his father....you do the bloody math). It was very prominent for a couple of years, till I was about 10, fading as I got older, until now, when it can only be seen in extremely specific lighting conditions. It also led to a couple of hilarious moments such as when my (then) girlfriend looked at me in a crowded cinema and shouting out "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT SCAR?!".

Never did find out what happened in the end......

Boomslang:
Only scars I have that are still visible are on my eyebrow and the center of my upper lip, and both only because hair doesn't grow.

I have lots of larger scars on my arms and legs that have basically disappeared in the span of a few years, even though they were fairly prominent before. Guess I'm just lucky that way.

pwhodges:
Not a scar, but you can still see the pattern of the radiotherapy I had over 20 years ago in the different growth of hair on my tummy.
