My tumblr's going through an identity crisis. It's original purpose is buried somewhere under my motivation, which is in turn buried under whatever seems more interesting at the time.

guys i did not read this thread cause this is the first time i've been on in like at least a week and im drunk and im lazy.

however i have a tumblr it is stupidhipsterbullshit.tumblr.com you can friend me if you want. i havent friended anyone in this thread (lazy + drunk) but if you send me a friend request ill probably accpet you. i mostply just reb log + post from the pointless thread but if yr okay with that lets be tumblr bff.

Beat Happening is mine. I post a bunch of my poetry and writing there, but I also put up my music reviews there (both local Vancouver things that you might not care about but also other music things that you could care about if you wanted to!).

I obliterated my old blog a while ago 'cause 1. I don't have that innate tenacity really good bloggers have, and I hate making those "waaaah sorry sorry sorry I haven't posted in x-number of months I promise this is the last time it's just school/work/euphemism for my lazy laziness" and 2. my relationship to blogs, in terms of what I can contribute beyond reblogging, is sort of not so good because all I really have is my short stories and poetry, but as a consumer of blogs I vastly prefer snippets of things (over blocks of text) or pretty pictures or noisy things like music. But I might start it up again late spring, so there.

I did this one for a drawing class project, just to collect male-gaze-y pictures, but also just general oh!-pretty pictures.

Mostly I am just posting so that if I follow you, you aren't left feeling all

(maybe this is just me, but I find I hate getting followed by strangers if I've done nothing to deserve it, does that make sense?)

i was wondering why you hadn't updated in forever! but uhhhhh short story & poetry tumblrs are some of my favourite tumblrs so i think you should reconsider your stance on several of the key issues *taps podium politely but firmly*

What are some good short story/poetry tumblrs to follow?

Edit: I had been toying with the idea of putting some of my writing online on tumblr, and I finally got over the fear of other people actually reading what I write and just did it. There is only one post so far, but I will be putting up some old writing over the next little while. If anyone wants to follow it's http://michaelcr.tumblr.com.

Sadly, I had to change it, because the old one didn't show tags and I have to have tags, because it's being used for a class. (For now anyways. It's just to make it easer on the GA.) I may go back to it, but I like the one I've got up now, too.

It's basically if you wanna write but think you can't seem to spend the time on it. I provide motivation and such and make you actually think or whatever. Or at least, I try. I haven't gotten as violent with it as I'd like.

I also include a picture I took at my college's campus (or at least that's what I'm using right now) with each blog post. =D
