Eh. It's not really all that important to the character.
Anyways, this week:
ACTION COMICS #1 (God of comics + young blue collar superman, yay!)
ANIMAL MAN #1 (Lemire seems like a good fit for this and I really like Animal Man. Buddy Baker is still married and Maxine has a connection to the Red.)
BATGIRL #1 (Pro: Gail Simone. Con: Not Steph. Pro: Gail Simone is one of the best writers active)
BATWING #1 (Real world guy is writing this
)
DETECTIVE COMICS #1 (Tony Daniel is on 'Tec so it'll be like his Batman, the writing seems pretty bad: "[The Joker's] modus operandi changes with the wind ...and it's been windy in Gotham.")
GREEN ARROW #1 (JT Krul writes Queen as a loose canon international Batman, expect this to suck)
HAWK AND DOVE #1 (Hey guys, you know what'll sell like hotcakes? Liefeld [lol, spell check thought I failed at typing 'lifeless'])
JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL #1 (been there, done that)
MEN OF WAR #1 (I like war comics and
Viking was rad)
OMAC #1 (Dan DiDio is not very good at anything and Giffen has his moments but his pencils are a little dated)
STATIC SHOCK #1 (Scott McDaniel is to cartooning what Greg Land is to photo referencing. On the plus side, John Rozum is writing.)
STORMWATCH #1 (Paul Cornell integrates the best of Wildstorm into the DCnU, not a children's book, 'nuff said.)
SWAMP THING #1 (Scott Snyder + Yanick Paquette. Snyder is one of the best things at DC, period.
Paquette's pencil are to die for.)
