So somebody on facebook posted a picture of a dude having a (click to show/hide)worm removed from his (click to show/hide)eye
It's getting kinda hard to finish breakfast.
nekowafer:
I am both disgusted and fascinated by that. Though I have not seen it. And it's probably best if I don't.
pwhodges:
Loa loa filariasis (African eye worm) presumably. I can see that could be upsetting.
GarandMarine:
Well. That didn't help my breakfast any. Just the thought. Fucking grody.
Also I see what you did there Hodges.

Sorry, I was blurry-eyed and not actually reading usernames very well.
This doesn't belong in complaints per se because it doesn't effect me, but here's just one of the 5 or so e-mails I've received since this morning from people at work needing their shifts covered.
"I have to take a driving class tomorrow to get out of a ticket that I got over spring break, and its tomorrow morning from 7-11"
You did NOT just learn about this driving class today. Some people have real reasons, but I get so many of these non-emergency requests, "I have a doctor's appointment, my family is taking me to Disney World." There's a sub-board for things you've known about for weeks. The Email list for emergencies, we shouldn't be getting 20 of them a day. How are you going to work in a real-world, non-campus capacity if you're so unproactive about things like this?
Because we're not allowed to work more than 40 hours in a week, I can only pick up 1 or 2 extra shifts a week. I'm more inclined to fill in for people who's reasons aren't really stupid.
