A minor point, but it's been niggling at me: the strip numbers in the WCDT titles (e.g., 2363-2367) are no longer in synch with the actual strip numbers. This week's strips will begin with #2362.

No, he missed one between Xmas and New Year, between 2350 and 2351, because on 27th Dec he was snowed in and had no guest strip, so we got this sketch of Claire (which not everyone could see because of corrupt code in the page) which was not numbered or subsequently linked on the archive page.

No, actually, it's going to be MUCH later. Last possible day of the Stanley Cup Finals is going to be June 28 - which is two weeks later than it was this year.

Everything's primo real estate when you're horny, apparently. (once had to ask a slobbering couple to ~~GTFO~~ move aside so I could enter the store they were exchanging saliva in front of... mixed feelings in that situation)

@Comic:
Marten is a victim of the "prindy" curse. Prindy stands for "pre indie" with "automatic indie" being a popular synonym.
It makes everything coming out of your mouth sound underground and/or indie by default to most other people.

Not entirely relevant, but is anyone else not a fan of Claire's random lock of hair that isn't in the ponytail?

I mean, her hair looks fabulous when it's down (as evidenced last week), but with her hair up, I just really don't like how her hair has ... migrated, more or less, you know?

The UK has a love/hate relationship with the metric system. There was a time when I could buy plasterboard (aka drywall) in the size: 1219mm x 900mm - that is: 4' x 2'11.43". This arose from trying to make as many lengths as possible sorta metric (the length 300mm even gets called a "metric foot"), while still respecting the fact that the studding in partition walls has been spaced at 16" intervals since the use of plasterboard began.
