For most purposes, "the airport" for Northampton is either Bradley (=Hartford) or Logan, and for Stowe, Burlington, and that flight would most likely go through Philly or DC. Unless his father's chartered a plane, in which case it was a hell of a thing for him even to consider going by car, it was all kinds of ridiculous for him even to think of it.

There's also direct flights between Boston and Rutland Regional airport (via Cape Air). Which actually might be a better choice than driving, given some of the crappy "highways" you'd be taking in that area (VT-103 is not a fun drive, and US-5 isn't a lot better).

Do you expect him to go thru the Atlantic Ocean, St. Lawrence Waterway, and the Great Lakes?

It is theoretically possible to borrow a friend's car. Return it with a full tank of gas.

Given how much poor judgement Marten's been showing the past few strips, I'd be worried he'd trade my car for a handful of magic beans.

--- Quote from: Near Lurker on 01 Feb 2013, 14:26 ---...maybe Marten's from San Francisco?

All we know is that it's somewhere in northern California.

If he bowed a friend's car, I'd expect him to get lost somewhere along the line and end up in Canada, where Raven has been hiding.
