Is it cold in here?:
So was part of the joke of the guest strip that it was pretentious marketing, not actually in touch with the trends it was pushing?

EDIT: Tai, for everyone's sake, do _not_ give Emily ideas.

Sorflakne:
Looks like Pintsize got into the markers again...

Yup

Near Lurker:
...is it bad that my first thought was "why is Tai in bed with Marten?"

westrim:
From personal experience, even permanent marker comes off the skin with a bit of scrubbing, but even if it didn't you'd think they'd have taken time to grab a long sleeved shirt instead of, say, a tank top.

Dora is secretly Marten's adopted twin sister, so nope.  She genetically mutates into a Bianchi when she leaves her hair alone and it goes blonde. It's a pretty lame superpower.

--- Quote from: Method of Madness on 09 Apr 2013, 20:43 ---I'd say that's the old fashioned usage rather than a current day usage (free stuff). And "Something We All Get" is just a backronym, it's just swag, it stands for nothing.

I saw it in an article just two weeks ago about PAX East, so it's still going. I said allegedly, as in unverified, as in I didn't believe it to be the case, so why does it feel like you corrected me?

--- Quote from: Kixie on 09 Apr 2013, 21:31 ---I mentioned that the current usage of swag is effectively the way you present yourself. I added to that a style of presentation beyond just the clothing or accessories you present yourself with. How you walk and talk and act can be your "swag". You could be wearing nothing and still say "Why'm I wearin' nothin'? S'cuz my swag." Older usages exist in excessive forms. Urban Dictionary has most of them. Google has the rest.

Heh. So we even analyze the guest comics this much. Must've been once hell of a guest strip =P

--- End quote ---
I was talking about Swaggy specifically, not swag generally. Stop overanalyzing my overanalysis!

Nah, controversy =/= quality, or The Passion of the Christ would have been Oscar winning.
