I'd be fine with this. I grew up on a farm, so I'm well familiar with where meat comes from, and I often hunted my own meat (venison > beef, always).
Maybe some people get grossed out and become vegetarians, but a LOT of people realize that factory-farmed meat is from animals that were killed months ago and as a result buy more organic. Everyone wins.
True. Much as I love meat, I find 'factory-farmed' meat to be unethical, so yes, I am somewhat of a hypocrite for still eating it. I do remember one dinner conversation a couple years ago where the topic was hunting, and one guy was talking about how cruel and barbaric it is...while he was eating a porterhouse. After he made his points, I pretty much just nodded and asked him how his steak was.
He never picked up on what I was getting at.
