In all fairness, having listened to several of his rants from his show, I get the feeling he is doing the wacko conspiracy stuff because that's what he's paid to do. He stretches for some really weak connections to point out supposed big conspiracy theories, but is very careful to not use language that could be defined as slander or libel, and pretty good about avoiding 'big corporation money' as a target, which is a very popular bad guy to theorists. Unless those big money people are in direct competition to his own corporate owners at Fox. Mostly, his rants seem to me to be much more precisely scripted work of an actor than the ranting of a conspiracy theorist off his chain.
