Yeah. I got that exact story in an email from my dad (who was one of the people that would forward everything to everyone until more recently) back about a decade ago.

It still amazes me that someone could say that about email. The internet has been in general usage for the entirety of my life (I had a website when I was three) but it still amazes me that that is the case.
Also I really hate chain emails. I would rather have 300 viagra adverts than a chain email sent by someone I thought was intelligent. Actually I frequently get both.

It's bad enough with the jangly-bangly Apples telephones with the stroking screen that my fat old thumbs won't register on properly so's people get textual messages all "FNARL Sn 8pm spAN fribB".
