I tried explaining to my 10 year old cousin why they are bad but she refuses to believe anything I say.

I used to get a kick out of the "a donation is made every forward" messages back when I was in highschool. These messages made no sense on multiple levels (how do you think they're tracking this? and do you think the heart association or whatever is going to throw away the rest of their money?) but people still believed them. It was the birth of phishing scams.
