Utah is my least favorite state.  
Mostly it looks like this:

Sure there are parts which look like this: 

Arches national park, so pretty they put it on their license plate.  
And it is pretty.  But in the end it is rocks.  And it is hot, and miserable:

3 days to fix my car?  I did the sensible thing, rented a car and spent the weekend in Colorado/New Mexico.  
Rugged, natural beauty? I'll take Yellowstone, thank you.
