different-er doodad? if you mean the length I have to leave it that length while it heals incase there is swelling again (my lip swelled up to fill that gap in the first few days after piercing), so I already plan on changing that when I can, and there's nothing really I can do about it at the moment. If you mean changing the balls then I am sorry, but they are almost certainly staying exactly the same.

I dunno, I kind of agree with Katie. Babies aren't ugly, but they're nothing special. When they reach the toddler stage where they just learn to walk and talk however, they're almost too adorable. I feel the same way with kittens and puppies too I guess, they're sorta cute when they're newly born and such, but when they reach the stage when they start clumsily walking around and playing with each other they're so cute it hurts.

I despise babies, and loath toddlers. Anything below the age of 13 really, I generally avoid contact with as though it were bubonic (which, frequently, they are). Sometimes I am in the unfortunate situation where I get on a bus, the doors close, and it is full of teenage mothers with their foul little spawn. I feel physically and violently sick and must close my eyes, count slowly to hundred, and breathe very slowly and carefully so that I don't ralph all over the polyester bus seats.

The thing with teenagers Dovey is that they are like hormonal chrysalises - and you can tell just enough of the sort of person they are going to settle down into being eventually (after all the dick / vagoo / boob chemicals have equalised) to know whether or not you hate them. All children - ALL children - are repellent in increasing stages, with no indication of anything better to come... though no doubt necessary, I think it would please me greatly if there was some sort of alpine Swiss boarding camp / finishing school that we could send them to until they emerged around 16 years old.

Babies are the cutest thing when, for instance, as an uncle, you see them for a few hours a week and don't deal with the drool and poop and gross baby things, and all you do is hold them and say things like "D'awwww. aren't you a cutie?" when they make silly faces.
