Oh hey guys. It hasn't been that long since my last post, has it? It has? Oh, fuck. Well, here's what I've been up to.

I hand-raised and released a female House Finch. Her name is Charlie and she is loving living life as a wild bird now. But when she still lived with me she loved to cuddle. And peck me.

I got mauled by a cat (bitten three times) at work. I work at a dog grooming salon when I'm not in school.

We had babies at the barn! This one is named Topper.

And I sawed a coconut in half.

So what has everyone else been up to?

Why did you use a saw? Wouldn't a chisel or something have been much faster and easier? Personally I always just smacked them good on the corner of the kitchen counter.

So, for the last few day anytime I went outside I was followed by a stray cat, so last night I decided to try to get the cat inside.
Well the cat has decided this is definitely his new home and shows no signs of being sick or even mean at all, the cat let me check every where for mites, even opening and folding back his ears

hes the sweetest cat I've ever seen and I have had a few cats before.

well you cant tell from the pictures but he is very thin, you can feel all his bones, he has scabs and scars all over his body, his claws are really long and some of them are broken on the tips, and his pads are extremely worn down and rough. He also finished an entire bowl of food in one sitting so its pretty safe to assume that he's a stray.

there are these awful rednecks that live up the hill from me and my neighbors think its their cat, apparently they have like 20 that are all in really bad shape and one of my neighbors even took in a different cat from them.

Your description of your kitty sounds exactly like the one I adopted off the street last year. For an abandoned guy, he is the sweetest thing ever. But if it really does belong to those people, don't give him back. And if you find out there's more, call the ASPCA and get their asses busted.

Today I went shopping! I bought some things that will be useful for university and are also pretty!

A new coat!

A new outfit! (My mother and stepdad say the skirt is too short. I say the skirt is pretty and colourful.)

Some pans! And cutlery!

Sometimes people lose their kitties and they wander around for months and months and get skinny and awful until they decide to move in with the people just a block behind and eventually it is discovered OH HEY THIS CAT IS MICROCHIPPESD AND A POOR GIRL STILL CRIES OVER THE LOSS OF HER KITTY 6 MONTHS LATER and then the girl gets her kitty back and he is fat and likes to bite but still so so cute and happy to be home.

What I am saying is that sometimes kitties that look stray are just lost and people still love them!

My kitty has a little tent shaped like a mouse now and he loves it.

Thank you! I actually had a bunch of people come into the grooming shop I work at with a cat in tow. They were all like "ohemgee, lost kitty, we're going to take him to the humane society!" Upon closer inspection, the cat was Boots, and belonged to a family that lived nearby. He just happened to live outside most of the time. =\
