See pils that outfit is serviceable but I think that it could've been immeasurably improved by the simple act of getting rid of the completely unnecessary tie. It adds absolutely nothing to the look.

Agree with Dovey on his first point. The outfit was poorly done. Light pants are a no, gigantic tie with gigantic knot should always be done up proper, wide ties are not casual. Even when the stop button is undone the tie must still be tight enough to hold it closed and the collar area of the shirt should not be able to collapse in on itself when undone with a tie in any circumstance.

Disagree on the second point. That outfit is perfect, the turquoise-ish tie only makes it more so.

Kinda confusing the photo thread with the fashion advice thread. Forgiveness please!

I think I disagree with every statement that both of you have made here, and as such maybe we shouldn't discuss it any more, since we're clearly not going to come to an agreement.

p.s. The half windsor is not a gigantic knot. You're thinking of the full windsor which I clearly have not tied.

p.p.s. I was going for a slightly ridiculous look, since these were pictures for a rock band. I have not worn that or any similar outfit except in the context of this photo shoot, or a rock gig.

I think you are confusing "look like your are kicking someones ass with it" with "look like you're Harvey Danger". Which in itself I suppose is a pretty good look. Also the not collapsing inward collar.

They tried to make it blonder, but my old dye refused them to do so. It ended up mucky orange on top and bright white underneath, so they dyed it all so it wouldn't look like I belonged in Brokencyde.

Also, my mom walked in and saw me from behind, and she thought it was Jens. Nearly gave her a heart attack since she drove Jens to the airport this morning, and he'll be gone for two weeks, haha.
