Not pregnant! Woo!

But that means that I have the flu, or possibly liver problems. Or crohns.

But probably flu. Which sucks in its own way because at this point all I can do is sit at home and drink lots of water and sleep, which makes me feel guilty.

Congratulations on not having to deal with a crying shit machine!

Dear Blaggy,

I went to Roxy's Music and played a shitton of instruments today..

I've decided that I really don't like playing mandolins that much and much much much prefer the bouzouki (and I've already put a deposit down on one for this guy, so I just need to pay another $900 and I'll have a brand new, handmade one just to my specifications. Awesome, if I get the money).

I played a Cole Clark 12-string guitar today which was so amazing and beautiful and had the most perfect intonation. Great low end and ringing tops but nothing overpowered anything else and ohhh god. I couldn't stop playing it, but it costs like $1200. Then again the store is going out of business, so maybe I could get it for an even thousand :p

Also found out that it is probably not worth it to rehair my bow. Talked to the guy there, he said it would cost $70 and take a few months, and considering what I paid for the bow and violin ($100), it would probably be better to buy a new bow for the same price. So I'll probably go with that.

Also, the store owner can't play piano, but he can do things that make me feel like listening to 2112.

Hey man, aren't you always complaining about how you don't have enough money and want to move out of your house? If instead of spending that money on that instrument, that's like three months rent right there. Unless getting that custom made instrument will make you happier than living somewhere on your own.

I never said I was getting it! I'm saying it would be awesome if I could afford it, though it ain't happening for awhile yet. The only reason I've paid a hundred was because I had a different job over the summer and wasn't planning on quite moving out yet at the time. No, there's a lot of things I want and could get but am not.

I failed my first class ever too. It was solid state physics and it was talking down to me and I cannot be fucked with that. My two best marks (by a fairly large margin) are from the two most difficult units; the only two units that weren't afraid to be somewhat challenging. I wish I was at a real university :(.

Dear blag,

Becca showed up my house for no good reason and took my cat, without so much as giving me a phone call, to go visit another kitty. This, as well as the following discussion and argument regarding why I can't trust her with a goddamn thing, led her to the point of saying she was done talking about it, and me saying I was done talking about anything ever with her. Maybe this time I can fucking keep my word.

Man, solid state physics is totally magical if you have no idea what inverse space is because your professor did the worst job of explaining it to you ever (by which I mean he was very unclear in his incorrect explanation).  I got my worst grade in a physics course in that class, because I basically had to try to reduce everything to a math problem with absolutely no physical understanding.

When showing off my drugs (which don't really keep me alive - they reduce the likelihood of another event) I forgot to mention what I hope will be a much more important feature of my health.  Simply from the changes I have made in my diet (primarily drastically reducing meat and cheese, and increasing oily fish) and no other efforts I have lost 3.5kg (~half a stone, 8ib) over the last three months,.and now weigh 77.5kg.  I'd like to get down to 70kg.

Dear blag,

Well, I am feeling less confident now. 'Cause it's been a couple days, haven't heard shit from anybody re: employment. I'm gonna probably walk down to the coffee shop at some point and be like "What gives, niggaz" and maybe they'll actually interview me. Same goes for True Value. I'd honestly like to just move back to Livermore and stay with some of my friends there for a while. It'd be easier to get a job there, for sure.

Haven't heard from Becca. She was supposed to be taking that pregnancy test soon. That is the only reason I will ever talk to her, is dealing with her possible pregnancy. Then again, she told me she's just going to abort it anyway if it turns out she is pregnant (which is funny, since my feelings on the matter apparently don't warrant asking about). And she told me to not bother with trying to provide any financial assistance. I've never been more happy to say that I am finally rid of her.

I truly, honestly hate my life.

Love,
Me!
