Thrillho:
Googling someone is one thing, but I think that regurgitating information about themselves back at them might be a bit over the line.
anahata:
I've Googled people to see if there's anything about them on the web, without prior knowledge whether there'd be anything to find. I'm sure we've all done it.
Whether I'd repeat information to the subject's face rather depends on how obviously they are trying to promote themselves - if they have their own personal promotional web site with their name plastered all over it and at least a page full of highly relevant Google hits, it wouldn't seem odd at all. OTOH if you only find vague address information from "people search" services or something like a list of people who left school X in year Y, it might not look so good to make it known you were digging that hard.
And re last panel: I can't imagine anyone not knowing that there's a Wikipedia page about them.

In case it hasn't already been stated: they're having coffee at his coffee shop. (Okay, "The Secret Bakery", but that's mincing terms.)
(EDIT: I see that it has. That's me and this third shift thing for ya.)
Thrillho:
Maybe Googling about such things should come AFTER date one?
Delator:
A cross-country "blind" date?
Yeah, I think it's perfectly fair for people to be Googling each other in that instance.
Lotta psychos out there. :psyduck:
