so out of curiosity how does one pronounce Fëanor?  I've been pronouncing it as Faye-ah-nor but I am no linguistic major so I am not sure.

In my experience, the tréma, or double dot, over a vowel indicates that it should be pronounced, despite the fact that the vowel is in a letter combination in which it is usually NOT pronounced.

that's what I thought and pronounced it as a soft e sound feh and not hard fee.  Wasn't sure since I don't speak elvish.  Supposedly "dh" is pronounced as a th in elvish I think.  Its been a bit since reading the silmarillion.

I do speak elvis though

Was that English Traditional/Simplified thing from a Chinese web-site? That kind of presents the USA as the equivalent of the PRC, and the UK as Taiwan. Which... kind of makes sense. You know, the regime that used to rule the whole lot retreating to an offshore island. And "There is only one China English language." but we disagree grumpily about who owns it. :-D

Actually the Traditional/Simplified thing is questionable even in the Chinese context where it is usually applied. Many of the Traditional characters are actually newer than their Simplified equivalents, which were derived from earlier forms. I suppose this is not so different from English, where American English preserves some older features that have been lost from supposedly more traditional British/Commonwealth English.

I've always read Fëanor as "feh-ahnor", but I have no idea if that is "correct".

you'd be surprised MoM but it does happen that way in the states.  Bad cops are generally more heard of than good cops but there are plenty of good ones here too.

Traditionally, the tit-heads are much better than American cops, and actually help some of the people (including tourists).  My ex once stayed at a hostel in the UK where she was to engrossed in her book to realise that they had already closed the gates.  One of the plod found her prowling around the place, looking for a way in, and after she explained what she was doing, he said "come with me" and rang the bell until the staff answered and yelled "this is the police", and when they opened the gate, he stood aside and basically said "this way please".  My experiences with German cops, despite the scary guns they often carry were equally as professional.

Only because you don't know your Magical Girl Animes. Duh!

The one rather to the left of Usagi's face with the white wings attached to it's head is the staff from Card Captor Sakura - as is the one on the other side of the face, the winged pink ring with a star inside. Right above it is the transformation pen of Sailor Jupiter, clearly distinguishable by the Jupiter symbol.

The one touching the m of the "com" in the URL is the key staff of Sailor Pluto.
Right above Usagi's head (the one with the crescent moon) should be the wand of Sailor Moon herself. The one to the right of it, which looks like it is filled with chewgum orbs, is the one from DoReMi.

I am missing Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne's Rosenkranz.

Seriously, Eric, you are displaying a horrendous lack of education  :psyduck:

Anyone able to identify the one slightly to the upper left of the crescent moon wand, the broken ring with the red orb? It's so familiar to me, but I cannot put my finger on it.
