But was she happy? That's the crux. The vast majority of humans require other human interaction. Even the most hardcore introvert likes to see someone every once in a while. We are social animals. There was an element of sadness with Marigold-she clearly wanted companionship, or why would she have Momo?

We have no evidence that Bubbles feels the same way. True, there is no evidence that she doesn't feel lonely, but I don't get that impression.

That's a wrong approach, the correct one would be "Was she happier?"

And everything seems to indicate that it really isn't the case.
